Getting the Best workshops help businesses get the best from their employees, create strong teams and utilize their staff more effectively.  These one hour workshops are offered locally to businesses that want to "grow" their staff and improve their business.
 

Workshops Offered

Personality Colors

Based on Myers-Briggs, this personality workshop uses four colors to define personalities to help participants learn about themselves and others.  It focuses on how to use your colors to better understand and interact with those around you to create stronger work teams.  It points out the values that others bring to the team and why we need many different personalities to make the strongest teams.

 

Creating the Best Team

For those who manage others, this workshop explores ways to minimize conflict and create the strongest team possible.  It includes ways to recognize team members and create loyalty.

 

Teamwork Challenges

Using problem solving physical and mental challenges, teams must work together to come up with solutions to complete these tasks.  By working together, team members learn to value and appreciate each other.

 

Creating a Business Vision

To create a successful business, you need to know where you want to go and what you want to accomplish.  This workshop is designed to help you focus your vision.  It also contains methods to use to get your employees to buy into your vision.

 

Business Ethics

Based on the National CHARACTER COUNTS! Program, this workshop explores ethics in business.

 

Youth - Adult Partnerships

Is your organizational board interested in having a youth representative on the board?  Is your agency interested in working more with youth volunteers?  Studies show that youth who are not actively engaged lose interest and leave the organization.  This workshop show you how to actively work with youth within a partnership to keep them coming back.

 

Using the Creative Leadership Process to Plan an Event

Avoid the pitfalls of planning an event!  This workshop, based on the Prudential Youth Leadership Institute, teaches the eight steps (which are sometimes missed) in the Creative Leadership Process to successfully plan and conduct an event.
 

Costs

One hour local workshops cost $75/hour plus $1 per participant for materials.  For workshops outside of Prince William County, call for prices.
